Actor spotted with ring on his third finger

Colin Farrell and Muireann McDonnell have been dating for a year

Colin Farrell has sparked rumours that he's planning to marry his student girlfriend Muireann McDonnell.

The actor was spotted wearing a band on his ring finger while at Los Angeles' LAX Airport this week.

'He didn't seem to be hiding it,' an onlooker tells The Metro. 'Maybe he has found the girl he wants to settle down with.'

Colin and Muireann have been dating since last year.

He was married actress Amelia Warner in 2001 but it lasted just 4 months.

Colin also has a 4-year-old son James with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave.
