Darren Day faces drink driving charge
Darren Day was arrested yesterday after being caught driving while over the limit.
The 39-year-old actor was stopped by police in Cardiff in the early hours of Wednesday morning after he was seen driving erratically.
A South Wales Police spokeswoman confirms: 'A 39-year-old man was arrested in Custom House Street at around 2am yesterday.
'He was arrested and charged with drink driving offences and was bailed to appear before Cardiff magistrates on 2 July.'
Darren, 39, is currently starring in a production of Hello, Dolly! in the city with former EastEnders star Anita Dobson.
