Saturday, 21 June 2008
Katie Holmes has been praised by John Lithgow, who will star opposite her on Broadway.
The actress is set to appear in Arthur Miller’s war drama All My Sons alongside Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson.
Asked what advice he'd give the star, John tells Us Weekly: ‘She’s a pro and I’d say to be herself. She’s going to be wonderful.'
'I’m looking forward to working with her. We haven’t worked together yet but it’s going to be great.’
Katie, 29, will appear on stage 6 nights a week as a woman visiting the family of her lost lover.
The play will officially open on 16 October at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York.
