Wayne Rooney says Coleen McLoughlin looked stunning on their wedding day

Wayne Rooney has admitted he found it strange to see Coleen McLoughlin in her wedding dress.

The couple got married in a £5 million ceremony in Portofino, Italy, last Thursday.

And Wayne says he was almost overcome with emotion in church.

‘It was weird when I first saw her,’ he says.

‘It’s such a big moment. I felt really choked. I thought she looked so stunning.’

Coleen, 22, reveals she worried if Wayne, 22, would like her choice of gown.

‘I was just nervous about whether Wayne would like my dress,’ she tells OK! ‘But luckily he said I looked lovely.’
