Britney Spears: no charge for 'foot crushing' incident

Britney Spears won’t be charged over allegedly driving over a photographer’s foot last year.

The incident was said to have taken place last November, when the
26-year-old singer was surrounded by photographers as she tried to
leave the Four Season's Hotel in Beverly Hills.

But after reviewing photos and video of the incident, police have decided to drop the case due to lack of evidence.

'The pictures and videos do not show the victim's foot being hit,' the LAPD statement says, noting that Britney was driving slowly and carefully amidst the crush of paparazzi.

The report concludes that the 'only way the victim's foot could have been where the video indicates it to be was by the victim placing it in that location'.

The photographer, who has not been identified, filed a criminal complaint against the singer in May.
