Russell Brand signs £1.8 million book deal

Comedian to write about his life – and football!

Russell is set to release 2 new books

Russell Brand has just agreed a huge publishing deal with HarperCollins.

The comedian is set to be paid £1.8 million – for writing just 2 books.

One will be published in time for Christmas, with the second out next year.

It's rumoured the first outing will feature the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star's views on life – and football.

‘I’m pleased to be paid – I was going to write them anyway,’ 33-year-old Russell tells The Sun.

The huge deal comes after his autobiography My Booky Wook sold 650,000 copies in the UK in just one year.
