It's claimed he was going to use Amy Winehouse's cash
Wednesday, 11 June 2008
Blake Fielder-Civil plotted to use wife Amy Winehouse's cash to pay off a pub landlord he attacked, it has been claimed.
He intended to give £200,000 of his wife's money to James King, 36, so he'd miss a vital court appearance, London's Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
But the plot was exposed after 2 middlemen contacted the Daily Mirror in October 2007.
The pair also tried to sell CCTV images of the incident outside a pub in Hoxton, east London.
Blake, 26, has pleaded guilty to GBH and conspiring to pervert the course of justice. Victim James denies conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
The case continues.
