Girls Aloud star fears clothes worth £2,000 have been stolen
Tuesday, 10 June 2008
Nicola Roberts is said to have called in police after a £2,000 package she ordered went missing.
The Girls Aloud star is believed to have bought designer gear from both Net-A-Porter and upmarket store Harrods.
But although both packages were signed for, only one reached Nicola, 22 – sparking fears that thieves have been at work.
‘Nicola had 2 deliveries couriered to her hotel in Manchester but only one, containing a handbag from Harrods, got to her,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror. ‘The other was signed for but mysteriously disappeared.
‘Nicola was distraught as it contained a gift for her mum. Police were called in to question hotel security but her stuff is still missing.’
