Patrick Dempsey: I'm thrilled Michelle Monaghan is having a baby

Actor says she will make a great mum

Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan starred in Made Of Honor

Patrick Dempsey reckons his Made Of Honor co-star Michelle Monaghan will make a good mum.

The actress announced last week that she and husband Peter White are expecting their first baby. 

Dad-of-three Patrick insists Michelle will be a natural.

‘I am thrilled for her,’ he says. ‘She will be a great mum because she has a good head on her shoulders, a fine husband, and overall, she is a lovely woman.’ 

And the Grey's Anatomy star says he gave Michelle, 32, some tips on becoming a parent.

‘I told her she may not see it now, but her life will change profoundly after she delivers the baby,’ he tells People.

‘I told her being a parent is a feeling that she will not understand until she actually has the child.’

Patrick, 42, and his wife Jillian have daughter Talula, 6, and 18-month-old twin sons Darby and Sullivan.
