Amy Winehouse's husband enters plea in court
Monday, 9 June 2008
Blake Fielder-Civil has pleaded guilty to GBH and conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
Amy Winehouse's husband admits attacking pub landlord James King, 36, in June 2006 and then offering him cash to drop the allegation.
The 26-year-old appeared at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court to enter his guilty plea last week.
A reporting ban prevented the information being made public, but the judge has lifted the restrictions.
Blake faces a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison for the assault.
Perverting the course of justice carries a maximum sentence of life, although that is unlikely to be imposed in this case.
Blake and Amy, 24, married in Miami in May 2007. He was arrested in November and remanded in custody.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
