Gabriel Thomson plays Michael Harper in My Family

My Family star Gabriel Thomson has been arrested on suspicion of having cannabis and cocaine.

Police allegedly found the drugs at his Battersea home when they responded to a call from a woman who claimed money had gone missing from her handbag.

Gabriel, 21, was seen being taken from the house in handcuffs.

'A 21-year-old man was arrested at his home on suspicion of possessing Class A and Class C drugs,' a police spokesman tells the Daily Mail. 'He was taken to Battersea police station and remains in custody.'

The actor plays Michael Harper in the BBC1 sitcom.
