Lucinda Ledgerwood is only candidate to get fired this week
Thursday, 5 June 2008
Sir Alan Sugar has allowed 4 contestants into the final of The Apprentice for the first time ever.
In past series, the business tycoon has only let 2 candidates fight it out in the finale.
But in last night’s episode Sir Alan, 61, only fired Lucinda Ledgerwood, 31.
He said risk manager Lucinda was too ‘zany’ for him.
‘I can’t argue with the facts of the past 10 weeks,’ he told her. ‘You weren’t successful when you weren’t the team leader.’
Lee McQueen, 30, Helene Speight, 32, Claire Young, 28, and Alex Wotherspoon, 24, will battle to become Sir Alan’s next apprentice on Wednesday.
‘I’m gonna let you all stay,’ said Sir Alan. ‘The reason is that you’re all very, very good candidates. You’ve all got something about you.’
