Jennifer Hudson: Sex And The City made me a label queen

Jennifer has a new-found passion for fashion

Jennifer Hudson got her big chance on American Idol

Jennifer Hudson came seventh on American Idol in 2004 and Simon Cowell wrote her off.

But she landed the role of Effie White in the movie version of Dreamgirls in 2006, starring alongside Beyoncé – and won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

Now the 26-year-old is playing Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant Louise in the Sex And The City movie - even though she's never seen the TV show.

'My sister was a big fan,' she says. 'I’m addicted now!

'I didn’t think I was a label queen, but I think I’m turning into one now. I’m really into my handbags. I love my Jimmy Choo bag and my YSL bag.'
