Kerry Katona devastated by stepdad's death

TV star rushes to America for Arnold Ferrier's final hours

Kerry Katona's step-father Arnold Ferrier was the only dad she knew

Kerry Katona is said to be in a state of shock following the death of her stepdad.

Arnold Ferrier, 78, died at his home in Texas yesterday, a week after Kerry heard he was terminally ill.

‘She was told last week he had cancer and wanted to be at his side,’ her spokeswoman reveals.

‘She is absolutely devastated.’

Kerry, 27 - who doesn’t know her biological dad - flew from Manchester to America yesterday morning.

‘To me he was my real dad, a lovely man who I love and will really miss,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.

Arnold was briefly married to her mum Sue, during Kerry's childhood.
