Boyzone's Shane Lynch to become a dad

Boyzone singer says he's thrilled about starting a family

Shane Lynch and his wife Sheena White have announced that they're expecting their 1st child.

The couple married last year and Shane is thrilled about becoming a parent.

‘I don’t feel nervous about it – I’m just very excited,’ he says.

‘I’ve wanted to be a dad since I was 20. It was all I ever wanted, and now it’s happening I couldn’t be happier.’

Shane, 31 – who is back on tour with Boyzone – says he's desperate to give his kids the perfect upbringing.

‘I have a dream of a house with a white picket fence and children running around,’ he says.

‘I’d definitely like more than 1 child, but that’s not up to me. We’ll have to see how the labour goes in November when the baby’s due.’
