TV judge already in talks about a worldwide competition
Monday, 2 June 2008
Simon Cowell is so pleased with the success of Britain’s Got Talent that’s he planning an even bigger show.
The TV judge even reckons a worldwide version of the talent programme could rival the Eurovision Song Contest.
‘This global show will unite the best acts,’ he tells the News Of The World.
‘It’s going to be great. The Eurovision’s not perfect – that’s why we want to have a go at doing something that rivals it. But it’s watched and enjoyed by millions of people around the world.’
On Saturday night George Sampson, 14, won a place at the Royal Variety Performance with his breakdancing skills.
