Singer upsets fans by late arrival and under par performance
Monday, 2 June 2008
Amy Winehouse was jeered by fans on Friday night after she turned up almost an hour late at the Rock In Rio music festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
It was the singer's first appearance since leaving rehab in February.
But Amy’s performance was less than impressive. She is said to have kept stopping to fix her microphone and talk with band members.
Her voice was also not up to scratch, with revellers complaining that it kept 'cracking', reports People.
Amy, 24, explained to the crowd that she was suffering from a sore throat – and then left the stage without performing an encore.
