WAG has hired Santa Margherita Ligure resort for marriage to Wayne Rooney

Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney will marry this month

Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney have hired an Italian villa for their lavish £5m wedding this month.

The elegant Villa Durazzo is in the luxury resort of Santa Margherita Ligure – where Rod Stewart married Penny Lancaster last year.

The chandeliers and marble floors will provide the perfect setting for the nuptials.

After the ceremony, the reception will be held in a 700-year-old former abbey nearby, reports the Daily Mirror.

Guests, who will be flown out to Italy in 5 private jets, will be entertained by Westlife and enjoy a masked ball on a yacht during the 4-day celebrations.

Meanwhile, Coleen and Manchester United footballer Wayne, both 22, were snapped yesterday cuddling up to each other as they watched Sir Paul McCartney, 65, at the Liverpool Sound Gig.
