But pregnant singer insists she will return

Ashlee Simpson has postponed her summer tour

Ashlee Simpson has put her summer tour on hold.

But the pregnant singer promises she will hit the road at a later date.

'She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future,' her publicist confirmed in a statement.

Ashlee, 23, and Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz, 28, got married at her parents's LA home on 17 May after getting engaged in April.

Last week, the couple announced they are expecting their 1st child.
