Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt and I would like to start a foster home

Couple want to continue helping disadvantaged kids

Friday, 30 May 2008

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have revealed that they're considering opening up a children's home.

The couple already have daughter Shiloh, 2, and adopted kids Maddox, 6, Pax Thien, 4, and Zahara, 3. And Angelina is due to give birth to twins in August.

But they want to continue helping disadvantaged youngsters throughout the world.

‘We keep thinking: “Is there ever going to be a time where we don’t have kids in the house?”’ she says.

‘Maybe we’ll eventually start a foster home or something. We have a clinic that handles children so there are ways of looking after kids without physically having them in your home and we’re doing more and more of that.’

And Angelina, 32, says she'll marry Brad, 44, if that's what makes her family happy.

‘We don't need to do it but one day we will,’ she tells the Sydney Morning Herald. ‘Maybe if the kids start asking – they'll probably be the ones to make the decision.’
