Thieves take £56,000 worth of jewels

Jade Goody returned home to Waltham Abbey and heard a noise upstairs

Jade Goody's £750,000 house in Waltham Abbey, Essex, was burgled this week.

The Big Brother star returned home after dropping her sons at her mum's to find her bedroom ransacked and muddy footprints everywhere.

‘I dread to think what would have happened if the thieves had still been in the house,' she tells the Sun. 'I’m just glad my two boys weren’t at home.’

The robbers got away with £56,000 worth of jewellery – including a diamond-encrusted bangle, 5 designer watches and a Tiffany necklace.

It is the third time Jade, 27 - mum to Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 3 - has been burgled.
