Cheryl Cole is ready to record songs as a solo artist and a number of different producers have been approached.
The 25-year-old, who enjoyed collaborating with Will.I.Am on hit single Heartbreaker, is keen to try out new ideas.
Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh - who got together in 2002 - will also 'take time out' to work on solo projects from 'music to acting to beauty to fashion'.
But the group, who signed a new record deal for 3 more albums, will also release an album together in 2010.
'Until Cheryl has recorded music, we can't say who will be working on the record,' says a spokesman but up-and-coming electro-pop star FrankMusik claims on Twitter that he's 'producing' Cheryl Cole's solo album, reports the BBC.
