Naomi Campbell has been charged with assault following an alleged air rage incident at Heathrow.
The supermodel, 38, was arrested on 3 April after she was removed from a British Airways flight to LA at Terminal 5.
She learned of the charges when she reported to the airport's police station to answer bail, just after 11.30am.
Naomi faces 3 counts of assaulting a constable, 1 count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and 1 count of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour toward cabin crew.
‘Prosecutors in this case have decided she needs to be prosecuted in the magistrates' court,’ her lawyer Simon Nicholls confirms.
‘She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously.’
Naomi, who could face 6 months in prison if found guilty, will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on 20 June.
