Actress comes clean about cosmetic surgery
Thursday, 29 May 2008
Amanda Holden has finally admitted that she has had a little cosmetic help to combat her wrinkles.
The actress, 37, has always denied having Botox injections, insisting her smooth skin was down to healthy eating and good genes.
But now she’s come clean.
‘Yes, I have had Botox,’ she admits.
‘I was out in South Africa filming and I was constantly frowning in the sun. I noticed crow’s feet coming and that’s when I had it. I don't know a single person who hasn't had something done.’
But the Britain’s Got Talent judge insists she hasn’t had the treatment for some time in case it ruins her facial expressions.
‘I need my muscles to move,’ she tells the News Of The World.
‘As an actress, Botox is a bit of a stupid thing to do because you need a moveable face. But my frown is back so it's definitely something I'll consider again.’
Britain’s Got Talent airs on weeknights on ITV.
