Actor must complete a course of rehab
Thursday, 29 May 2008
Gary Dourdan has pleaded guilty to 2 counts of possessing cocaine and ecstasy.
The CSI star was found asleep in his car on the wrong side of the road in California on 28 April.
Police found the drugs in the vehicle and arrested him.
A charge of heroin possession was dismissed.
Gary, 41, initially denied the drugs belonged to him.
His lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley spoke to waiting press outside the Lawson Justice Center yesterday.
'[Gary] very much regrets what happened and he's very embarrassed by what occurred, but he's looking forward to moving on and getting back to work,' he said.
The actor faces no prison time but must complete a drug rehab programme.
