Kylie celebrates turning 40 with family dinner

Star takes a day off from her European KylieX tour for birthday celebrations

Kylie Minogue had an all-night party for friends in Athens, Greece

Kylie Minogue will mark her 40th birthday today with a quiet family get-together.

The singer's parents Ron and Carol are flying from Australia to Germany, where she is currently on her KylieX tour.

And sister Dannii is also expected to join the celebration dinner.

Kylie threw an early birthday party for 100 pals last week.

The pop princess hired a lavish hotel in Athens, Greece for the all-night bash.

Her tour will resume in Munich on Thursday before heading to Geneva, Lyon and Madrid.

She has also lined up 25 live dates in the UK over the summer, including 7 nights at the 02 arena in London.
