Singer keen to get her career back on track
Tuesday, 27 May 2008
Britney Spears is out to reclaim her crown as princess of pop – and is in talks to perform a show-stopping special gig at the Palms Hotel and Casino.
The Toxic singer, 26, is set to make her comeback appearance at the end of the year at the Las Vegas venue.
‘The concert will be one to top all – a spectacle,’ a source reveals.
‘It will have jaw-dropping lights, amazing costumes and a performance from Britney to roll back the years.’
And her record company Sony BMG is said to be backing the move, despite her embarrassing performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.
‘There’s a total of £5million on offer but the onus is on Brit to put in a top show,’ the insider tells the News Of The World.
‘Britney is finally getting her life – and career – back on track and the whole world will see the evidence when she steps on that stage.’
It's thought the concert will be followed by a string of live dates.

Britney will make a brilliant come back and I hope she does carer on track because she's had a rough year for certain reasons but she made a big mistake at the MTV Awards because she wasn't rady then but now she's got back into shape, she's going to the gym and dancing lessons nd recording more songs at the record studio and eating healthier. Justin also says he wants to help Britney make a comeback which will be great! Oh and I hate the papparazzi along with Britney.
