Boy George says he's happy as a market trader

Former club DJ and Culture Cub singer Boy George is now working as a barrow boy.

He's running a stall at Spitalfields Market in East London, where he sells £10 T-shirts, vests and hooded tops from his B-Rude label.

But the singer, 46 – real name George O’Dowd – insists he’s happy with his new job.

‘It’s been all right — quiet today, though,’ he tells The Sun.

‘I’m bored and cold but we have to do a Friday stall to get a pitch on Sunday.’

Boy George sold more than 10million records in the 1980s with Culture Club, whose biggest hit was Karma Chameleon.
