Lindsay Lohan sued over fur coat mix-up

New York student Masha Markova wants damages for 'loan' of mink

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by student Masha Markova over claims the actress took her fur coat 'without permission'.

The Mean Girls star is alleged to have taken the £6,000 mink from New York nightclub 1 Oak on 26 January.

Masha, 22, says she sat next to Lindsay, 22, in the club, but when she came to leave she found her coat had disappeared.

She said she was looking through a magazine 2 weeks later when she spotted a photo of Lindsay leaving the club that night – in her mink.

‘It was my coat. It was no doubt,’ she tells the New York Post.

The coat was returned to Masha on 14 February, after which she told reporters that she expected 'around £5,000' as a 'rental fee'.

She has now asked Manhattan's State Supreme Court for unspecified damages, reports E! Online.

Lindsay’s rep has not responded.
