Singer said to have played prank at Millwall ground
Tuesday, 20 May 2008
Pete Doherty was allegedly kicked out of Millwall FCs football ground New Den at the weekend for taking a leak in a football trophy.
The singer was taking part in the Celebrity Soccer Six tournament on Sunday with his Babyshambles bandmates.
Babyshambles were given access to the chairmans office so the attention surrounding Pete wouldnt get in the way of all the other guests, a source tells The Sun. He decided to play a prank but overstepped the mark.
One of the security guards was tipped off that Pete was trying to take a trophy. When he checked it out he found that Pete wasnt nicking it, he was filling it up.
Pete, 29, is a fan of rival team QPR, and is said to have thought it would be funny to leave a little surprise.
His team eventually came second to rival group Faithless.
