But comedian fears the baby blues
Sunday, 3 August 2008
Catherine Tate has revealed that she'd love to have another baby – despite suffering postnatal depression after the birth of her daughter.
The 40-year-old comedienne made the first series of The Catherine Tate Show in 2004 while suffering from the condition. She only recovered after filming the second series.
Her daughter Erin – who was born by emergency Caesarean section – is now 5.
‘I hope it won’t stop me [having another child], but it does worry me. Also, I want one because I wouldn’t like Erin to be an only child,’ she tells Weekend.
Her partner, stage manager Twig Clark, got her through the depression. He gave up work to look after Erin so Catherine could concentrate on work.
