Song Take A Bow goes from No 52 to No 1

Rihanna has made chart history in the US

Rihanna made chart history yesterday when her new single Take A Bow jumped 52 places to No1 in the US.

Her new record is one of 4 new songs on the expanded edition of the 20-year-old's album Good Girl Gone Bad.

Its speedy climb to the top is the second biggest leap in Billboard chart history for 50 years.

Maroon 5 still hold the record for their 2007 track Makes Me Wonder, which went from No62 to No4 just 1 week.

The album is set for release on 17 June.
