Shania Twain splits from husband Robert 'Mutt' Lange

Couple end their 14-year marriage

Shania Twain met music producer Robert Lange in 1993

Shania Twain has confirmed that her 14-year marriage to Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange is over.

'[The couple] are separating after 14 years of marriage,' the singer's rep says. ‘This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.'

Shania, 42, met music producer Robert, 59, in 1993 when he began writing songs with her.

They married the same year but have rarely been seen together in public. They have a son Eja D'Angelo, 6.
