Actress didn't have it easy and was teased about her looks

Sarah Jessica Parker says she was starved of attention and teased over her looks as a child.
The Sex And The City star, 43, was the butt of endless jokes about her frizzy hair and big nose.
‘There were some non-terribly-veiled conversations. Anything from as silly as plucking my eyebrows to getting my nose fixed,’ she says.
Growing up in a poor coalmining town in Ohio, Jessica felt ignored by her parents.
‘As a child I was lucky to get any attention, let alone be spoiled,’ she tells the Sunday Mirror.
‘My father was a poet. My mom was busy with eight children and my step-dad was a truck driver. But I’m grateful for all that now. It gave me a good work ethic.’
