Sex And The City star hopes people always think of her as desirable

Kim Cattrall is dating toyboy Alan Wyse, who is 23 years younger

Kim Cattrall says she has much in common with her Sex And The City alter ego Samantha Jones.

‘If I’m associated with sexuality until the day I die I’ll be happy – because I intend to be sexual until the day I die,’ she says.

Toyboy lovers are not just part of the script for Kim, 52, who has been dating Canadian chef Alan Wyse, 29, since 2004.

'In some insane way real life started to imitate what was going on with the storyline for Samantha,’ she tells The Sun.

‘When I started dating my younger man, I first of all felt very much like Samantha. He has different energy levels that I do. God knows, and he’s at a different point in his life.

‘But there is so much common ground with what we have together. I'm glad I got over the ageism.’
