Ginger said to have made changes to a Bible reading at kid's christening

Geri Halliwell has been updating the Bible, according to a source.
Ginger Spice is said to have made changes to a religious text read at her child's baptism.
At her daughter Bluebells christening, Geri asked David Walliams to read a passage from the Bible, a source tells the Mail On Sunday.
The odd thing was she had rewritten parts, saying it would read better.
Geri, 35, recently launched her first childrens book Eugenia Lavender.

I guess she forgot about that part in the Bible where the plagues will befall you, and you shall die miserably, if you change the words of God.
ha! why not?
the bible ONLY has room for improvement...
I think it's great. Good for her! The Bible is only 'living' if it's in todays language and understandable. Translate, translate and then translate it some more. Make it real for today's thinkers.
This is what passes for news in 2008?
