Beauty with a business brain: Nadine Coyle

Nadine Coyle plans to open a chain of scented candle shops in LA with her family.

‘I'm so excited about it,’ she explains. ‘LA's the perfect place for it too as people love to get pampered.

‘I've already got my brother-in-law to create the decor. He's an artist and does amazing canvases so it will be a proper family business - and really personal.

'I've got my mum to run it while I'm away working with the band.

'I'll also bring some candles to go in our dressing rooms to calm our nerves before the shows.'

The Girls Aloud singer, 22, already owns a Mexican restaurant and several properties in California – but she’s not planning to leave the group.

‘LA is my home now because all my family are in the States,’ Nadine tells the Daily Mirror.

‘There's no way I'm quitting the band. The candle shop and my businesses are something else I love to do.

‘I'm having such a laugh with the band. Where else can you get your hair and make-up done for free for hours on end, then you go on stage with a great bunch of girls and have a blast?’
