Fern Britton's amazing transformation - dropping a whopping 5st in 2 years - is hard to miss.
When she stepped on stage to present The British Soap Awards in London on 3 May, she looked slimmer than ever. At the previous year’s event, the star had dropped from a size 22 to an 18, but 12 months on, she’s lost another 2st.
Thrilled with her new look, 50-year-old Fern’s even decided to ditch the body doubles in her new Ryvita campaign, which kicks off this week. Instead of the computerised special effects that saw her head being superimposed on to a model’s body, Fern’s eager to show off her own figure.
‘Fern’s lost a lot of weight by cycling, walking the dog and not eating too much,’ husband, TV chef Phil Vickery, 47, has confirmed,

As much as I like Fern and she has done really well in losing so much weight but she definitely does not look a size 14. She is more likely to be a size 16. Vanessa Feltz always said she was a size 12 but she must have a fantastic mirror!!

I think Fern Britton looks amazing, my mother told me if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!!!! i think this advice should be taken on by everyone who has nasty things to say about this amazing woman, women in this country cant win they are either too fat or too thin!!!!
fern is not a diet cheat.its not a competition to loose weight, she looks fantastic.any one who hs this surgery are not cheats. Wendy
I know Fern Britten is a celeb but surley she is entitled to a Private life and what she does in that time is her business.
