Burnt out Jordan's 30th birthday is off!

With her lavish celebrations abandoned due to stress, Jordan?s finally taking a holiday

Just over a month ago, Jordan was boasting to Now that her 30th birthday party would be the most extravagant celebrity event this year.

She announced: ‘It won’t be like the wedding, but it’ll be huge. It’s got a theme, too. Only I can get away with it – it’s very over the top.’

But as she arrived back from a promotional trip to America last week, Jordan’s family managed to persuade her that she needs a rest – and that means no birthday bash on 22 May.

She and husband Peter Andre, 35, are currently in Australia for his brother’s wedding. They’ll then pop back to the UK before immediately jetting out for an intimate holiday with their closest friends, likely to be at their secluded villa in Cyprus.

The glamour model realises that now isn’t a good time to have a big party as her world is crumbling around her.

According to Now’s trusted insider, Jordan’s piling on so much work for herself that she’s finding it impossible to cope.

Our source says: ‘Katie simply can’t maintain a balance – she keeps saying yes to every job under the sun and it’s putting immense stress on herself and her family. She’s been suffering from really bad headaches and tiredness from her workload.

‘But she’s trying to ignore the warning signs of stress. Her head’s been totally turned by America and she’s more determined than ever to become a Hollywood star. We just hope she can manage to relax on holiday and get away from it all.’
