Ex Blue singer denies charge of common assault
Thursday, 8 May 2008
Lee Ryan's request to have his court case dismissed has been rejected.
The ex Blue star is charged with common assault after allegedly attacking a taxi driver.
The incident is said to have taken place after Lee's fiancée crashed into Naeem Ibrahim's cab on New Year's Eve.
Lee, 25, is accused of punching Naeem 4 times in an argument that followed the accident. The singer denies the claim, saying he only threw 1 punch in self-defence.
The hearing at Redhill Magistrates Court has been delayed because Naeem is in India and could not attend.
The case is now adjourned until 15 May.
