Kym Marsh denies romance with Lee Sharpe

Spokeswoman says they're 'just good friends'

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has denied rumours that she's dating ex footballer Lee Sharpe.

It's claimed the pair have been on a string of dates in the 2 months since Kym split with actor Jack Ryder. They were married for 6 years.

But a Coronation Street spokeswoman claims there's no romance. ‘Kym and Lee are just good friends,’ she says.

Lee and Kym were photographed with their arms around each other at the Miss Manchester contest last Thursday. After judging the beauty show, they went on to the city's 235 Club together.

‘Kym really enjoys spending time with Lee but doesn’t want to hurt Jack’s feelings,’ a source tells the Sunday People.

‘Their relationship is in the very early stages and neither wants to rush it.’

Lee, 36, split with ex girlfriend Joanne Petty last year. He has also been linked to glamour model Abi Titmuss, 32, after they met on reality show Celebrity Love Island.
