Friends shocked by news of wedding in the Caribbean after whirlwind love affair

Mariah Carey has married Nick Cannon after a whirlwind 5-week romance.
Mariah, 39, and Nick, 27, took out a marriage licence on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, where Bishop Clifford Petty of the National Church of God confirms the wedding took place.
Fans, friends and close associates are stunned by the news.
'I'm shell shocked,' a source close to Mariah admits.
Mariah first met Nick on the video shoot for her song Bye, Bye in the Caribbean on 26 March.
'Nick was cast as the romantic lead and was flown to Antigua where they met so basically their [romance] started during the shoot,' an insider tells People. 'She's very into religion and Nick is very into religion. That's something they bonded on.'
Jacob Arabo, the jeweller who created the diamond sparkler Nick gave Mariah as an engagement ring - an identical design to the one he gave former fiancée Selita Ebanks - believes the actor is deeply in love.
Others are worried it's just an infatuation.
'This is what Nick does; Nick is such a sucker for love,' a pal explains. 'He falls in love so quick.'
