Actress photographed with mysterious patch on back of head

Liz Hurley has been photographed with what appears to be a badly-positioned hairpiece.

She was returning to her London home after a visit to see ex Hugh Grant, 47, when a paparazzo snapped her rear view - and revealed the 'patch'.

The actress's impressive head of hair is part of her image but it seems as if, these days, not all her curls are homegrown.

‘It looked like her hair extensions had gone awry,’ an onlooker tells the Daily Mail.

Recently, Liz – who launched her swimwear range for high street store Mango last week - admitted she needed help looking her best.

‘I rely on nice photographers and a certain amount of retouching,’ she says.

‘I don’t mind if you want to make me a bit thinner and a bit younger.’
