Footballer spoils his squeeze with R7 sparklers

Cristiano Ronaldo has given new girlfriend Nereida Gallardo a pair of specially made diamond earrings.

The Manchester United footballer splashed out £25,000 on the ?R7? studs - which stand for his initial and shirt number.

Nereida, 24, was spotted with them as she watched his team beat Barcelona 1-0 on Tuesday, reports The Sun.

The model is expected to wear them again for Man United's Champions League Final against Chelsea in Moscow on 21 May.

Cristiano, 23, has dated Nereida since they met in a Majorca nightclub in January.

His previously flames include glamour model Gemma Atkinson, 23, and Portuguese TV presenter Merche Romero, 31.
