Melinda Messenger: I'm looking forward to male attention

Presenter feels fine after split from husband Wayne Roberts

Melinda Messenger is excited about getting back on the dating scene.

Last week the TV star announced she was having a trial separation from husband Wayne Roberts after 10 years.

But she’s finding it strange being single again.

‘It’s scary being back on the market – I have no idea what to do,’ she tells Closer.

‘It’s nerve wracking now - I find myself spending so long getting ready for red carpets.

'It’s exciting, though, and I’m looking forward to the male attention.’

Mel, 37, decided to end her relationship with Wayne after they hit a low point 18 months ago.

But Wayne hopes they’ll work things out.

‘I’m just hoping we get can get back together as a family,’ he tells Hello!

‘But I’m also trying to respect and understand Melinda and not push what I want on to her.’

The pair have 3 kids, sons Morgan, 8, and Flynn, 6, and daughter Evie, 4.
