Cynthia Nixon to 'marry' her partner of 4 years

Sex And The City star to have commitment ceremony with Christine Marinoni

Cynthia Nixon is rumoured to be planning an autumn 'wedding' to her partner of 4 years Christine Marinoni.

The Sex And The City star is thought to want to make it a private family affair.

'Cynthia and Chris want a quiet autumn ceremony in Vermont under the red leaves,' a source tells National Enquirer.

'It's supposed to be a very low-key gathering, just for close friends and family.'

The couple met in 2004 after Cynthia split with her boyfriend of 15 years Danny Mozes. They have two children together, Samantha, 11, and Charles, 6.

Speaking about Christine, the 42-year-old actress says: 'I'm in a fantastic relationship. I'm in love with [Christine] because she's her.

'If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don't know.

'We shop and cook and raise children ? we both pitch in.'

Sex And The City: The Movie will be released on 28 May.
