Sir Alan Sugar gives her the boot for her sales team failings

Lindi Mngaza has become the latest contestant to be fired by Sir Alan Sugar on The Apprentice.

On last night's show the business manager, 22, saw her Alpha team lose to the boys in the ice cream selling task.

She was given the boot after being called into the boardroom with teammates Lucinder Ledgerwood, 31, and Jennifer Maguire, 27.

'Lindi, you were second in command for what I think was the most important thing in this task; identifying customers and selling the merchandise,' Sir Alan told her.

'And it's sales that you lost this task on. That brings me to a conclusion that, Lindi, you're fired!'

But Lindi thinks Sir Alan, 61, made a mistake.

'I feel I didn't get a chance to showcase my skills,' she tells the Daily Mail. 'I don't feel I should have gone. Sir Alan didn't see enough from me.

'I'm probably still in a state of shock that he didn't see how special I am.'
