Despite a flurry of rumours to the contrary, Courteney Cox has confirmed that a Friends reunion isn't on the cards.
The series ran for 10 years until 2004, but fans have been desperate for a return to Central Perk to find out what's happened to Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey.
'I have a feeling it's not going to happen,' Courteney says. 'The longer we wait, the older we get
'
But the actress, 43, says she's enjoying her role as a magazine editor in Dirt.
'After playing Monica, who was a very high-energy, obsessive-compulsive character, it's a challenge for me to play someone who's more solid and less emotional,' she says.
'After 10 years of being on Friends I waited to find a project like this that I was passionate about and knew would be good because people were kind of waiting for me to fail.'
