Max Clifford: Simon Cowell will name his first son after me

But agent doesn't think kids are on the cards soon

PR guru Max Clifford has revealed that Simon Cowell is going to name his child after him - but he isn't holding his breath.

‘I had a chat with Simon and he said he was going to call his first son Max after me,’ Max, 65, tells the Daily Mirror.

‘It's very flattering because Kerry Katona has named her boy after me too.

'I'll probably have to wait until I'm 100 to see if Simon will keep his promise. It's very kind of him, though.’

The X Factor judge, 48, is currently in a long-term relationship with Terri Seymour, 34.

Meanwhile, Simon's mum Julie, 80, has claimed that he was a bit of a dunce at school.

‘He was awful,’ she tells the Daily Star. ‘He didn’t bother at all and we were really disappointed.’
