Hugh Jackman says he approves of Scarlett Johansson's relationship with actor Ryan Reynolds.
The actor starred opposite Scarlett, 26, in 2006 flick The Prestige and admits that he's very protective over her.
But Hugh, 39, says his X Men co-star Ryan, 31, gets his blessing.
'Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest guys I've ever met,' he tells Entertainment Tonight Canada.
'We had a really good chat about his girlfriend [and] he got a big thumbs up from me. I'm giving my blessing.'
